Best seat in the house, every single shift. Sell tickets with Sydney Harbour as your backdrop — Circular Quay, Manly, Watsons Bay and more, with ferries and cruise boats coming and going all day. We're looking for outgoing, switched-on people to join our team as Ticket Sellers, selling tickets and being the friendly face that welcomes thousands of locals and travellers to Sydney Harbour every week. About the Role As a Ticket Seller, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests — selling ferry and cruise tickets at wharf locations around the harbour, helping people find the right cruise or timetable, and making sure every interaction leaves a great first impression. It's a summer casual role, which makes it a great way to earn over the season while picking up real, transferable customer service and sales experience — perfect if you're a student, between jobs, or just want to build your resume with a well-known brand. It's fast-paced, social, and never boring. What You'll Do
- Sell ferry and cruise tickets at wharf locations using our point-of-sale systems
- Handle EFTPOS transactions accurately and securely
- Give guests clear, confident information on our cruises, timetables and products
- Spot opportunities to promote and upsell packages and special offers
- Help manage queues and passenger flow during busy periods
- Support the wider team to keep vessel turnarounds running like clockwork
- Assist with daily setup and pack-down of your wharf location, keeping it looking sharp
About You You've got real face-to-face customer service experience and you're comfortable holding a conversation with anyone who walks up. You're confident handling payment systems, quick to pick up product knowledge and timetables, and reliable under pressure when the queue starts building. You're happy working solo or as part of a team, and flexible enough to work across different wharf locations, shifts, weekends and public holidays. Experience in tourism, hospitality or transport is a plus, but a great attitude matters more than a resume.
