SeaLink Tasmania is gearing up for our busiest time of year, and we're looking for energetic, safety-conscious people to join our team as Traffic Marshalls for the summer period. If you love being outdoors, working with people, and being part of a friendly team, this could be the perfect seasonal role for you.
About the Role
As a Traffic Marshall, you'll be the friendly face and steady hand directing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians near our ferry embarkation areas. You'll play a key part in making sure every guest's journey starts smoothly and safely, all while representing SeaLink's warm, welcoming brand of service.
What You'll Be Doing
Guiding vehicles queuing to board our vessels, in line with company policies and procedures
Monitoring and controlling access to the embarkation area, and preserving safe pedestrian and traffic routes for the public and local community
Delivering clear, friendly communication to drivers, passengers, and the public
Championing safety on-site and supporting SeaLink's Workplace Health & Safety standards
About You
We're after a confident, clear communicator who stays calm under pressure and thrives working outdoors and on their feet. You'll be a team player who takes pride in guest service and safety alike, and you're available across the summer peak season, including weekends and public holidays.
