We are seeking a commercially focused procurement professional who thrives on turning analysis into action, delivering measurable savings, and influencing strategic business outcomes. The Opportunity

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Group Procurement team and lead procurement savings, sourcing, commercial improvement and performance outcomes across Kelsian Group.

This role is responsible for identifying and prioritising procurement opportunities, converting analytics into executable sourcing initiatives, and delivering measurable commercial benefits across the organisation. Working closely with Finance, Operations and senior business leaders, you will lead complex sourcing projects, supplier negotiations and procurement transformation activities while leveraging Workday and other business data to drive informed decision-making.

This is a highly visible role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, making it ideal for a commercially minded procurement professional with strong analytical capability, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for creating sustainable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a prioritised pipeline of procurement savings, cost avoidance and efficiency opportunities across the Group, ensuring benefits are identified, quantified and realised.

  Lead complex sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and category strategies that deliver measurable commercial outcomes and long-term value.

•  

  Utilise Workday and other business data to identify procurement opportunities, develop business cases and provide actionable commercial insights.

•  

  Develop and maintain procurement performance reporting, including savings, spend under management, contract coverage, compliance and sourcing pipeline metrics.

•  

  Build strong relationships with Finance, Operations and business leaders to drive procurement initiatives and support strategic objectives.

•  

  Lead, coach and develop the Procurement Specialist while identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes, governance and organisational capability.

What you Will Bring:

• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to identify and deliver procurement savings, cost optimisation and business value.

•  

  Advanced analytical capability, including the interpretation of large datasets and the development of commercial recommendations and business cases.

•  

  Demonstrated strategic sourcing, supplier management and complex negotiation experience.

•  

  Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building skills across diverse business functions and leadership levels.

•  

  Proven leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring and managing competing priorities.

•  

  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with Power BI, Workday reporting or similar analytics experience highly regarded.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.

• Experience with Workday Procurement, SAP, Oracle or comparable ERP platforms, ideally within a complex or decentralised organisation. 

•  

  Demonstrated experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing or commercial management roles, with a proven track record of delivering measurable savings and efficiency outcomes.

•  

  Experience leading sourcing events, supplier negotiations, commercial evaluations and market benchmarking activities.

•  

  Strong capability in spend analysis, supplier analysis, commercial modelling and procurement performance reporting.

•  

  Professional procurement, commercial or project management certifications and experience within transport, logistics or other asset-intensive industries are advantageous.
